DRUG TAKE BACK- March 19th 

Please bring any expired, unwanted, or unused prescription and nonprescription medications for proper disposal to the Senior Center on March 19th from 10:30-11:30am. Brought to you by the Lafayette Senior Center in partnership with the Lafayette Police Department. 

CSU Nutrition Classes  

Join Boulder County CSU Extension Health Specialist Emma Dhimitri to learn a new healthy recipe using seasonal produce. Participants will help prepare and taste the recipe, and will receive recipe ingredients. This program will be taught in English and Spanish.

Shoulder and Tennis Elbow Workshop 

Got shoulder pain or tennis elbow from pickleball?  Join Alpine Fit’s interactive workshop to identify root causes, assess injury risk, and learn exercises for prevention and treatment.  Stay on the court pain-free!  Includes a Q & A session.

Crime Prevention with the Lafayette Crime Prevention Unit

Crime prevention and community policing share a common purpose – reducing the threat of crime and making our community more safe and secure. The police department needs the assistance from each community member. Robert Wilson from the crime prevention unit in the Lafayette Police Department will go over the latest information and provide tools on how best to stay vigilant.

LIONS CLUB GLASSES  

The Senior Center is proud to partner with our local Lyons Club to offer FREE sunglasses and reading glasses to seniors in need. The Lafayette Lyons Club accepts donations of prescription glasses that individuals in our community no longer need. However, at times they are also given reading glasses and sunglasses that they cannot donate overseas. Stop by the Senior Center if you need reading glasses or sunglasses on:
