Wings Over the Rockies™ Heads to Space in their Next Season of Behind the Wings®

Denver museum produces Season 4 of aerospace TV series ~

Denver, CO – July 18, 2022 – Wings Over the Rockies (Wings) is set to premiere Season 4  of their television series Behind the Wings® on Rocky Mountain PBS on Thursday, July 21 at  8:30 p.m. MDT. This season, containing four new episodes, embarks on an immersive journey about space exploration. Additional Season 4 episodes air on Thursday, July 28,  August 4 and August 11 at 7:30 p.m. MDT.

Since its inception in 2017, Behind the Wings has amassed over 7 million views on YouTube from all over the world and has aired in over 50 PBS markets across the US. This will be the first season focused entirely on space. 

In each 30-minute episode, co-hosts Myrna James and Cray Novick will explore topics from early space exploration to the next frontier in space, and take viewers along to meet with  NASA astronauts, historians, researchers and more. Get ready to travel to Panama to learn how the first astronauts trained, explore the new space race with Sierra Space and Voyager  Space, meet with retired NASA astronaut Scott Kelly on the future of living and working in space and more.
