Minnie Pearl
Come to this Chautauqua style performance with Elsa Wolf as she portrays Minnie Pearl from the Grand Ole Opry! Learn about how Sarah Colley Cannon “discovered” Minnie Pearl.This Living History presentation will leave you laughing. Lunch will be served at this fun event to be held on Friday, Sept. 15th. Bridge Class – Popular Bridge Conventions
One new bridge convention is presented each week. The popular Two-Over-One Bidding system is explored. There are many additions to modern 21st Century bridge that allows players to reach their best contract. Intermediate and Advanced bridge players will find this class fun and helpful. This 10-week class start on Thursday. Sept. 7th – cost is $55, call 303-205-7500 to register.
Write Your Own Will Class
In a single sitting, you will complete a simple will for Colorado residents. You will also complete a living will, medical power of attorney, financial power of attorney and more, all with the help of a licensed attorney. Fee includes all materials, witnessing, notarizing, individual review and time for questions. You do not need to bring anything special to this class. However, you may want to bring a snack as this class goes through the lunch hour. Class will be held on Saturday, September 16th , cost is $172 per person, call 303-205-7500 to register. Gentle Yoga
Find your inner power! With an emphasis on fitness and a health-based approach to Vinyasa style yoga, you will develop core strength, improve flexibility, and become more centered through a series of yoga asanas (poses). Bring your yoga mat and join instructor Lisa Toyne on Tuesday evenings in September from 6-7pm. Cost for each monthly session is $25, call 303-205-7500 to pre-register.
Movie Matinee
Enjoy the movie “A Man Called Otto” on Thursday, September 28th at 1pm, the movie is free but pre-registration is required, call 303-205-7500 to register. Bring $1 for pop & popcorn, if you like!
