Casino Trip
Hop on board the casino’s motor coach for a few hours of gaming at the Mardi Gras Casino in Black Hawk. Register now for this trip that leaves the AAC at 9am sharp on Wed. July 10th; cost is $9. Call 303-205-7500 to get signed up!
Free Concerts in the Park – Venue Change!
Every Wednesday (June 26th – July 31st) there will be free concerts at 6:30pm at Prospect Park – 44th & Robb St. in Wheat Ridge, come enjoy some great music!
Health Screening Day
Discover vital health information which can better equip you to strive for optimal health. Several health screenings will be offered onsite: blood pressure, hearing, genexe cancer genetics screenings and more! Bring your ID and health insurance card on screening day, Monday, July 29th from 10am-2pm.
Will Maker Legal Seminar – Write Your Own Will
You’ll complete a simple will, a living will, medical and financial power of attorney in this 4 hour class. Fee includes all materials, witnessing and notarizing. This class will be held on Wed. July 10th, cost is $125 per person; call 303-205-7500 to register.
Movie Matinee
Sit back, relax and enjoy our free monthly movie! “Aquaman” will be shown on Thursday, July 25th at 1:00pm. No RSVP needed, just show up!

PWR Moves – Parkinson’s Fitness Class
Certified Instructor Stephanie Uszacki leads this class that starts off with foundational moves and progresses through building endurance, strength and flexibility. Caregivers are welcome to attend and assist. This drop-in class is held every Tuesday from 1-2pm, cost is $3.50 or free to Wheat Ridge SilverSneaker® cardholders.
Dance, Dance, Dance
The Wheat Ridge Active Adult Center offers a wide variety of ongoing dance classes which include: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Tap; Belly Dancing, Hula, Ballroom, Zumba and Western Line Dancing. Call 303-205-7500 for more information.
