Carnation Festival and Zopp Italian Circus
Mark your calendar for the 45th annual Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival – Friday and Saturday, Aug. 15th and 16th from 4-11pm at Anderson Park at 44th and Field. Fireworks both nights at dark. Ice Cream Social in the Park
Cool down with some yummy ice cream before the last free concert of the summer featuring the Hot Tomatoes at Anderson Park, 44th and Field. Call to register, $4.
Movie Matinee

Outdoor Recreation
It’s hiking season! On August 21st we’re headed to Rocky Mountain National Park to the Allespark/Calypso Cascade area. A $16 trip fee covers transportation and an escort/driver from the AAC. For a complete hiking schedule call 303-205-7500.
Aging Wisely – Who’s Driving Miss Daisy?
What can you do when driving is no longer an option? What ride arrangements are available? This informational class will be held on Tues. August 26th at 1:30pm, cost is $5- please pre-register by calling 303-205-7500.

Mad Russian Golf Outing
