Hell on Wheels
Join local author, Dick Kreck, as he shares tales from his most recent book, Hell on Wheels. The wildest of the wild, wild west were the towns that sprang up during construction of the Union Pacific Railroad. These wicked settlements were so raucous, so crime-ridden that they were dubbed Òhell on wheels.Ó This event will be held on Thursday, April 17th – cost $6; call 303-205-7500 to register.
Beginning Bridge Class
This is a 10-week course for the absolute beginning bridge player. You will play a bridge hand at the very first lesson. Come learn the updated version of the Standard American Bidding System and have fun doing it! Classes will be held on Thurdays April 24- July 3; cost is $48, call 303-205-7500 to register.
Movie Matinee
Sit back, relax and enjoy our free monthly movie! “The Book Thief” will be shown Thurs. April 24th at 1pm. No RSVP needed, just show up!
Outdoor Recreation
April wraps up our ski season and begins the hiking season! A $16 trip fee covers transportation and an escort/driver from the AAC. Last ski trips are Tues, Apr. 1st to Winter Park and Wed, April 9th to Copper Mtn. First hike of the season is a Mystery Hike on Wed. April 30th, call 303-205-7500 for more info.
Readers Theater
Want to act? But donÕt want to memorize? Then join ReaderÕs Theatre Troupe. This is the place to enhance or discover your talent! No experience necessary. The next 6-week class will begin April 16th. Cost is $17, call 303-205-7500 to register.
