Vet Chat – Come Learn What You’ve Earned
Qualified Listeners, a Veteran & Family Resource Hub based in Weld County, will be hosting a monthly series of informal get-togethers for Veterans and their families to learn about a variety of useful topics. Examples covered during the series are VA and non-VA resources, Veteran culture, scams that prey on Veterans, the family unit, patriotism, educating our youth, childhood abuse linked to post-traumatic stress, and more. The purpose is to educate and inform in an interactive setting.
The first Vet Chat will be held Tuesday, September 3rd, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Prairie Greens Clubhouse, 7781 Mountain View, in Frederick. Some of the topics to be discussed include VA loans, mortgage scams, and credit score pitfalls.
Pre-registration is not required and there is no charge to attend.
