What to Do When a Loved One Dies
When someone dies the decisions and procedures can become overwhelming. Elder law attorneys, Kris Zumalt and Sandra Sigler, walk us through the first 10 days after death, including who to call first, who will contact you and why, who will take over (partner, spouse, power of attorney), how many death certificates do you need, and much more. Knowing what to expect can make a truly hard and emotional time a bit more bearable. We welcome wisdom from attendees who have already had to trek this tough road.
