Kathy Imel Exhibit Sunday, November 15
Pairings, an innovative art exhibit will be held on Sunday, November 15 from 2-3 p.m. at the Thornton Senior Center, 9471 Dorothy Blvd. The exhibit will feature Kathy Imel’s paintings with essays and poems from York International students and seniors from the Thornton Senior Center along with musical pieces inspired by the paintings. Contact arts@cityofthornton.net for more information. Exhibit attendees are invited to vote for their favorite piece and the People’s Choice with the most number of votes will be purchased through TASHCO.

Medicare 101 Tuesday, November 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Information is provided about Medicare enrollment, benefits, costs, what and how Medicare pays, choices under Medicare plans, how they work and prescription drug coverage. Reservations are required; please call 303-255-7850. Medicare classes are provided by Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) Counselors. Healthier Habits for a Healthier You Wednesday, December 2 from 1-3 p.m.
For centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to optimize our physical and cognitive health as we age. Join us to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.
