Information is provided about Medicare enrollment, benefits, costs, what and how Medicare pays, choices under Medicare plans, how they work and prescription drug coverage. Caregiver Support Group
If someone you care about has memory loss or dementia, there is something you can do to help that person and yourself. Plan to visit the Alzheimer’s Association Support Group this month. There is no cost or commitment, just people who care. This group meets the second Monday of every month from 10-11:30 a.m.

Older American’s Luncheon
The 55+ Organization will be hosting a special luncheon to honor our seniors who are 85 and older. Join us as we celebrate these seasoned seniors who add such spice to our lives! Seniors only, please.

Yesteryear Singers Concert
Since 1992, this wonderful group of men and women has been singing throughout the metro area brightening the lives of nursing home residents. Now, 50 members strong, we’re lucky enough to have a concert featuring them at the Thornton Arts & Culture Center. Please join us for an afternoon of fun. Wednesday, May 22 at 12:45 p.m.

AARP Foundation Finances 50+
This 3 part program is designed to help you build habits that can improve your financial situation. Volunteers from the Seniors’ Resource Center who are trained by Charles Schwab will give you a good handle on where you stand financially, plus simple, hands on ways to make measurable progress toward your financial goals.
