Sometimes worrying about our own health and the health of our loved ones can be overwhelming. We are well aware of the effect stress and worry can have on our health and well-being. We also need to remember the positive effects of joy and laughter. Join us as we find ways to use humor to improve our health by incorporating laughter. FREE!

Information is provided about Medicare enrollment, benefits, costs, what and how Medicare pays, choices under Medicare plans, how they work and prescription drug coverage.  Appointments are required; please call 303-255-7850.  Medicare classes are provided by Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) Counselors.  Class is held at the Carpenter Recreation Center, 11151 Colorado Blvd.

How Money Works
Join representatives from Primerica as they talk about how money works and how to make your money work best for you. From teaching how to reduce debt to how to increase savings, this presentation will help you get back on financial track. FREE!

AARP Driver Safety Program
This unique classroom refresher course is for drivers age 50 and over. Seniors learn how to improve their driving skills in our new half day format. Upon completion of the class, students will qualify for a discount on their automobile insurance. Classes are held at the Carpenter Recreation Center, 11151 Colorado Blvd. Registration is only accepted at the Thornton Senior Center. Fees: $12 AARP members/$14 non-AARP member. *Make checks payable to AARP.
