Keep Your Fork, Dessert Is On The Way – Friday, August 7 at 12:45 p.m.
Barb Warner could not find the perfect book to give her ideas on maximizing optimism, passion, and joy in her life after retiring so she wrote one! Learn about how you can savor the second half of your life by using knowledge from your own experiences, your ideas of what a good life is and recent research. This lecture will allow for small and large group discussion as well as writing. Light refreshments will be available after the presentation. FREE!

Medicare Counseling – Tuesday, August 11th from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Information is provided about Medicare enrollment, benefits, costs, what and how Medicare pays, choices under Medicare plans, how they work and prescription drug coverage. Bean Bag Baseball – Wednesday, August 26 at 12:45 p.m.
Grab a friend and join us for a fun and easy game. We’ll “run” the bases to see which team wins. FREE!

Heeeeeeeere’s Dusty – Friday, August 28 at 12:45 p.m.
Dusty Saunders, writer and columnist for the Rocky Mountain News, dealt with numerous local personalities over the years including the late Gene Amole, Starr Yelland and Weatherman Bowman. Dusty will tell tales about his 40 years specializing in television coverage and radio experiences. Discussion of the media world – past, present and future is also included. FREE!

Armchair Adventure: Sailing the Mississippi – Wednesday, September 2 at 12:45 p.m.
Adventure down the mighty Mississippi River in a 26-foot sailboat named Cocalena. We’ll head south to the Bahamas to escape the winter until new challenges present themselves to the crew. Learn about towns you never knew existed! Presented by Mick Prozinski filled with stories and pictures that you won’t soon forget. FREE!
