Medicare Counseling is now being offered at the Thornton Senior Center. Trained volunteers will assist you with your Medicare issues. Appointments are required; please call 303-255-7850. Tuesday, April 9 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Medicare classes are provided by Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) Counselors, Information is provided about Medicare enrollment, benefits, costs, what and how Medicare pays, choices under Medicare plans, how they work and prescription drug coverage. Class held at Carpenter Recreation Center, 11151 Colorado Blvd. Registration is required. Tuesday, April 16 at 6 p.m.
Available Screenings: Blood Chemistry Screening ($30), Blood Count ($15), Hemoglobin A1c ($25), Prostate Specific Antigen Analysis ($25), Vitamin D ($40), Colon Cancer Screening Kit ($20), Body in Balance, Lung Function, Hearing Screening, Oral Screening, Vision, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Foot Scan, Body Fat Skinfold Screening, Skin Screening, Bone Health Testing, Ask a Pharmacist, Nutrition Screening, Heart Health Assessment, Stress Management Screening, Spinal Screening and Blood Pressure.
