Harmonicas for Health – Tuesday, October 3, November 7 from 2-3 p.m.
This is a basic blues harmonica class designed for ages 55+ that focuses on using the harmonica to improve your breathing while injecting a little extra fun into your life. The primary objective of the class is to learn to play harmonica as part of your daily wellness routine. The more you play, the better you breathe, the more oxygen your cells receive, the better you feel! Handout, guides, and songs to play will be provided as well as a complimentary harmonica. Join Janet Woelfle, BFA, M.A.Ed. artist and retired teacher for a 6-week class to promote healing, self-awareness, joy, concentration, and art making as a coping technique. Projects incorporate paints, pencils, markers, chalk, clay and collage media. Discussion, Q&A, group support and getting to know you activities included. All materials included in class fee. Colorado Chamber Players Concert, Friday, November 3 at 1 p.m. The Colorado Chamber Players and talented students from Denver School of the Arts will perform a delightful concert including classical music by Teleman, Mozart, Beethoven and Vivaldi. FREE!
