Your joints allow you to move, but as we age they can be a source of pain and make strange creaks, cracks, and groans. Learn about the different types of joints in your body an how they work. Specific exercises, nutrients, and supplements that are helpful in keeping your joints in tip top shape are discussed. Fees are $11/resident; $13/non-resident.

Canvas & Coffee
Bring out your inner Picasso! Spend a morning at The MAC under the direction of a Gallery on the Go Guide, and create a masterpiece acrylic painting of your very own. No previous experience necessary. You will be given step-by-step instruction. All painting supplies including aprons are provided, just bring your sense of humor! A sample painting is displayed in advance of the class at The MAC. Bring your friends and try your hand at painting while enjoying the art of socializing! Fees are $25/resident; $29/non-resident.

Feast on Fermented Foods
Home fermenting is a way to preserve foods and actually improve their nutritional value. Learn the skill of lacto-fermenting, turning cabbage and other vegetables into probiotic powerhouses! Milk becomes more digestible by turning it into kefir. Fruits and grains can be fermented too. Demos, samples and recipes are included. Fees are $13/resident; $15/non-resident.
