The Affordable Care Act – Are You Ready?
The South Metro Health Alliance (SMHA) is convening the communities of Arapahoe and Douglas counties on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 10am to 12pm at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton to discuss “The Affordable Care Act – Are You Ready?”.
Bob Semro, one of Colorado’s leading experts on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) from The Bell Policy Center, will be guiding us through an exploration of how health care reform may affect you and your community. In addition, Connect For Health Colorado will be explaining the new way to shop for health insurance through exchanges. Seating is limited and reservations are requested.
We have just passed the third anniversary of the passage of ACA. In that time, the law has survived legal challenges that went all of the way to the U.S. Supreme Court as well as opposition during the 2012 elections. Most of ACA will be implemented by the end of 2014. What has ACA meant – and what will it mean – for Colorado and its citizens? Join us to have your ACA questions answered.
