Sustain Arvada Festival May 3 At Wolff Park

Arvada, Colo. — The second Annual Sustain Arvada Festival will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, at Arvada’s new Wolff Park, 8475 West 57th Avenue. Focused on living sustainably, the festival will include educational exhibits and informative presentations that center on learning how to conserve resources using earth-friendly practices.

Learn how to:

  • Trim your energy use
  • Recycle, reclaim, repurpose and reuse
  • Reduce waste
  • Conserve water
  • Grow your own food and save money and,
  • Make eco-friendly choices.

The festival will feature family friendly activities and games for children, along with great food, music and more.

Donate a bag of clothing or household goods to the ARC Thrift truck and ARC will donate one dollar per bag to Arvada K-8 School. Attendees are encouraged to ride bikes, walk, take the bus or carpool to the festival.
