Support Better Access To Health Care For All!
~ The SMHA Membership & Recognition Fundraising Luncheon ~
Do you believe in better access to health care for all? The South Metro Health Alliance (SMHA) is holding its very first Membership & Recognition Fundraising Luncheon on Monday, November 18, 2013 at The Franciscan Event Center in Centennial from 11:30am to 1pm and everyone is invited! Tickets are $30.
SMHA is a non-profit network of dedicated health care providers and community-based organizations serving the underserved in Arapahoe and Douglas counties (with the exception of Aurora, CO), with a mission of uniting the community for better access to health care for all. SMHA helps connect health care providers and community-based organizations, provides professional development for non-profits and the community, promotes health care initiatives, and helps to represent the underserved in the community.
At the luncheon, SMHA will be honoring the following individuals and organizations for helping to address the ever-changing landscape of health care in our community:
- Centura Health, Doctors Care, Greenwood Pediatrics, Dr Ellen Burkett, and the SMHA Health Information Exchange Task Force – honored for their work and leadership in Health Information Technology.
- SMHA outgoing founders, in particular Board Directors Linda Comeaux of Arapahoe Community College, Lisa Traudt of Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network, and Maria Pearson, Community Representative.
- SMHA volunteers who have given of their time to further SMHA’s mission.
Please consider supporting SMHA’s valuable work in the community by registering for our luncheon. Reserve your place online at www.southmetrohealthalliance.org/meetings.
