Approximately 125 ladies attended the Strawberry Brunch and fashion show held at the Arvada Community center on June 13, 2013.
Somewhat like a Sadie Hawkins dance, 12 men volunteered to serve the brunch and beverages to all of the women in attendance. And I must say that they did a most admirable job since I did not see one plate dropped or any of the beverages spilled at any time that the brunch was being served.
The fashion show was sponsored by the Dress Barn and featured a wide variety of spring and summer clothing for every occasion. From casual outfits for every day wear to more elegant fashions designed for a night on the town, the main theme was combining color and comfort in a way that is both appealing and fun to wear.
The ladies who volunteered to participate as the models in the fashion show each received a nice bouquet of flowers at the end of the presentation.
All of the ladies in attendance appeared to have a most enjoyable time thanks to the efforts of the Dress Barn and the volunteers and staff that helped to make the entire show possible.
