After a year of staying home and foregoing in-person visits from loved ones due to COVID safety measures, seniors at a local memory care community kicked up their heels at their own senior prom. The seniors with dementia danced to live music and even crowned a prom queen at Willowbrook Place, at 11139 Bradford Rd., Littleton.

“Our residents have sacrificed a lot over the past year and half to ensure COVID safety, and they did so with tremendous grace,” said Sarah Kressig, life engagement director for Willowbrook Place. “The seniors danced with pure joy as they returned to the pleasures of normal life.”

Willowbrook Place is operated by Anthem Memory Care.
