Retirees Can Still Make a Difference ~
Many studies show volunteers live longer and more satisfying lives. Help your community and yourself by volunteering. It’s not too late. We find volunteering for folks 55 and up in Adams and eastern Arapahoe County Phone 720-523-2820 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.

Community Garden Help: Like to garden? We help to provide food to southwest Adams County food banks as well as the gardeners themselves. Thornton/Northglenn area gardens. Call Tom Rapp.
Food Banks: Many food banks need helpers to assist their clients in Adams County and eastern Arapahoe County. Call us for details.
Hospital Help: VA Medical Center (Aurora), Platte Valley Medical Center (Brighton) North Suburban Hospital (Thornton), Saint Anthony North (Westminster): Many jobs assisting patients and families.
Driver shortage! 3 Meals on Wheels Programs need drivers: Aurora, Brighton, and Sr. Hub (western Adams County). Deliver one or more days/week. Routes Monday – Saturday take 1-2 hours.
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Adams/Broomfield: Help children who can’t live safely at home to fight for their safety, dignity and passage through foster care. Call us.
Sr. Hub Adult Day Service: Volunteers are needed to serve meals and help with activities during the week Mon.-Fri, or in the new Saturday program. Contact us for more information.
Sr. Hub Senior Tech Volunteers: Tech-savvy volunteers to help with internet and social media classes for older adults. Need experience with smartphones, apps, Microsoft Office, and social media. Call us.
Yesteryear Singers (North-Metro): Love to sing in a group? Like to perform for senior and other organizations and groups? Contact us for more information.
High School Equivalency Tutors (Aurora Community College): Volunteers needed to help with GED prep, Adult Basic Ed and Adult Secondary Ed. Contact Tom Rapp for more information.
Hunger Free Colorado: Volunteers needed to help with several different jobs in reducing hunger in the metro area. Call for contact information and further details.
Senior Hub In-Home Care: Volunteers help homebound seniors in Adams and eastern Arapahoe with light housekeeping, shopping, fixing meals, companionship or respite for caregivers. Call us today.
Schools: Help in elementary schools and as Schools Where All Thrive SWAT tutor/mentors. Call us.
Other Volunteering: 1. Activities for military vets and/or spouses. 2. Congregate meal sites. 3. Senior and older adult centers. 4. Boards and committees 5. Recycle events 6. One-time & short-term events 7. Lap robe knitters (We also need donated 4-ply, non-wool yarn).
