Hi Prime Timers! Fall is here!! I do enjoy the change of seasons and I love the weather this time of year. The air seems crisper if that’s possible. It’s also football season! Woohoo! This year we have an unexpected thrill coming from the campus in Boulder. I was as shocked as the rest of the world when CU hired Deion Sanders. I’ve been a Deion fan ever since he retired from football. I can still see the nightmarish vision of him high stepping it into the end zone after he ran over my team. He was an amazing talent and fun to watch (in the reruns). Being a Hall Of Fame football player wasn’t enough, he also played major league baseball for 9 seasons. Any team in either league would have loved to have Deion play for them. He may be the best athlete I’ve ever seen. I’m looking forward to watching him in his coaching life. GO BUFFS!!!

Did you get your election 2023 State Ballot Information Booklet in the mail? I love that the state sends these booklets to every voter. It’s full of good information on issues that are on the ballot along with information on election day. Give it a read, there’s nothing better for a democracy than a well-informed voter…

Ok, do you want to talk about the Broncos? No. I don’t blame you. No, I jest. The Broncos are a work in progress. Personally, I’m just looking for them to get better from week to week. Don’t forget all the changes that have been made to the organization. It will take time to establish a culture, let alone a winning culture. I do believe the new owners want a winning team… Check out all the events happening in this month’s edition.
