Hi Prime Timers! I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe and strong. So, this is what a pandemic looks like. If you’re like me, you are safely tucked away in your living quarters venturing out for necessities or a daily walk. When I head out to the grocery store or pharmacy I wear one of the masks a dear friend (Karen) made for me and Deb. I do get annoyed when I see someone without a mask or some sort of face protection. In this trying and uncertain time, we all need to do our part to help stop the spread of this novel virus and keep our loved ones and those on the frontlines safe and healthy.
Personally, I think Gov. Polis and local officials are doing a good job of trying to protect the citizenry. These are unprecedented times and folks are doing their best in adjusting to this so called “new normal”. It certainly is a challenge but one we will all get through together. As I’m writing this, we are starting to open some of our businesses with the hope of bringing back some semblance of “normalcy”. Wherever you stand on this position, please be respectful of others and continue to follow the safeguards and guidelines provided by the medical professionals.
We are seeing so many communities being creative as they express their thoughts and appreciation for our essential workers or sending messages to their loved ones and others. A photo on the back page from Brookdale Meridian Arvada and photos from RiverPointe, Littleton (page 20) are wonderful examples of this creativity. For our June edition, we would like to publish a featured page(s) of photos highlighting the camaraderie, kindness and creativity of our communities. Please send your photos to bill@myprimetimenews.com. We’re excited to see your photos and appreciate and are thankful for your support and help moving forward.
I don’t know about you but I totally enjoyed the NFL draft. If you’re a Bronco fan you should be excited. I’m cautiously hopeful we will have a football season…
