Yo! Prime Timers. Last month as I was writing my ramblings, I was all excited about our beautiful springtime weather. I wrote about viewing my trees blooming outside my window. Two days later we received the first of many April showers…Snow Showers.
As I sit and write today the temperature is in the 70’s and the weatherman is predicting snow for tomorrow. I love Colorado weather…
I’m glad to see April pass along. About two weeks ago an important mentor in my life passed away. Robert J. Manganiello. He was my uncle and also my publisher and boss prior to me moving to Colorado. I flew back to PA to attend his services and to be with family and friends. I was hurting selfishly at my loss and had to be in the company of those I love and those that are near and dear to me to begin the healing process. I’ll miss him but I’ll never be without him…
AARP Driver Safety Course…. Take the time and attend one of these free classes. My bet is you will be amazed at what you learn and improve your driving skills…
Happy Mothers Day to all our Beautiful Mothers. I enjoy the day because I reflect on the days spent with my mom. I wish I could call her or send her flowers but I can’t, as she passed away 6 years ago. Take it from a late life orphan, never miss an opportunity to put a smile on your moms face….. Love you Glor, enjoy catching up with uncle Bob! One of the joys of marrage is I still have my second mom. Not a moment will be wasted in lettng her know how much she is appreciated in our lives…
Baseball… I understand that Prime Time sponsors a senior league softball team. I’d love to see them play. Nothing says spring and summer like baseball. My playing days ended when the spirt was willing, but the body? When I turned 40 I blew out my knee running from second base to home. I was safe! I did purchase a glove last year to play catch with my 33 year old son. Its funny when I play catch with my son it seems like I’m playing with everyone else I’ve played with. The memories flow like a smooth throwing motion… Nothing like a hot summer night at the park with a dog and beer…

Are we missing something you liked prior to me taking over? Let me know. Like I said earlier, its your paper. I am to here to please you, the reader…
