Hi Prime Timers! I hope your spring is going well so far! This past month I’ve been feeling enthusiastic and excited about the upcoming summer. We’re already enjoying hanging out with our family and friends and the next few months will hopefully be even better. Getting back to the things we looked forward to such as concerts, ball games and family vacations will make going to and planning them again even more special this year. But the BEST part of this summer will be seeing our children and grandchildren who live back East (Maryland and Massachusetts) and having the whole family together making more treasured memories.

It’s been far too long…

The photo you see is from a wonderful event, “Partners in Caring” that Deb and I had the pleasure of attending last week. It is hosted monthly by the Juniper Village Communities and attended by folks from senior living communities and businesses that take care of and support our seniors. It was great to see and chat with familiar as well as new faces, and thank you to the amazing Juniper Village Team for their kindness, generosity and hospitality. It was a special night and a good time was had by all!

At the event, I was humbled and honored to be in the presence of so many real life heroes that worked in Assisted Living and Memory Care communities during the greatest challenge of our lifetime. They were the angels who not only took care of their residents’ needs but were also the angels holding their hand when they took their last breath. They gave their all with love and grace to those in such dire need while providing support to their families and loved ones. Your dedication and selflessness is inspiring and we admire your strength and courage. You are SUPER HEROES!
