Hi Prime Timers, and Happy Birthday America! I was debating what to write about this month when I heard a barrage of fireworks exploding in our neighborhood. It was the 4th of July celebration to commemorate when our country obtained its independence. A few years ago we had the opportunity to watch the 4th of July celebration in Boston along the River Charles with the Boston Pops providing the background music. It was amazing. We spent the day along the river and enjoyed the day-long festivities which ended with the fireworks and Pops. When the show was over, around 500,000 people leave the riverfront and head to the T, (the light rail in Boston). It was the first time I was one in not a million, but a half million…

We do live in a great country with wonderful people. When you look back over the past year, how many times were you humbled and in awe by the actions of another person. We’ve witnessed acts of heroism from everyday folks just going about their daily duties. New duties that asked them to do things most were not trained for. But they did it and God Bless them. Now that we can see the light at the end of the tunnel we should never forget the fear, uncertainty and challenges of 2020 and the incredible people who got us through it. THANK YOU!…

Looks like we’re in for a “normal” summer. Personally, I can’t wait to see a Rockies game and attend a concert. It’s really cool to see faces and smiles again. A special thank you to our readers, advertisers, contributors and distributors. We really appreciate your support and wouldn’t be here without you!
