Hi Prime Timers! Happy New Year!! Can you believe it’s 2024? I enjoy the fresh start the New Year offers. I usually don’t make resolutions as they tend to fade fast but this year I need to make an effort to get back in shape. Since I received my new knee a year ago I sort of slacked off on my conditioning. Nothing serious, daily walks and some calisthenics should do the trick. So far I have high hopes for this resolution. Oh right, it’s only January!
We hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season. Ours was spent with family and friends who always make the holidays a special time filled with lots of treasured memories. The grandkids helped us make delicious ravioli again this year. I assume they were delicious just by the consumption and how fast they disappeared. I myself did not have any of those delicious dough-filled pockets of heaven. The two folks who couldn’t have gluten (me and my daughter-in-law) enjoyed gluten-free ravioli, which are good but pale in comparison to the real McCoys. Every year we have high hopes to perfect the gluten-free dough. I’m thinking and fingers crossed, in the new year, it’s going to happen…
