Ramblings of a Rambler

~ By Bill Watson ~

Happy Mother’s Day to all our Prime Timers. We wouldn’t be here without you. My
mother passed away before we moved to Colorado in 2006. I often wonder what she
would think of our move and our growing family…

My Wife Deb and I traveled to Pueblo a few weeks ago to see the band Candlebox. It
was a night of great music. The lead guitarist for the band grew up across the street
from us in PA. All those years of practice paid off. Man, can he play!!
Pueblo is looking pretty nice. Memorial Hall where the concert was held just finished
remodeling. There is a beautiful River Walk a block from Memorial Hall surrounded
by restaurants and other merchants. It’s worth a day trip…

Deb, Jessica and I will be at the Salute To Seniors on May 14. This is an annual must
attend event. For more information go to page 4 of this months edition… (linked here)

We attended the CALA conference at Black Hawk the last week of April. Assisted
Living Homes from across the state were in attendance. The highlight of our stay was
running into the former owner of the Prime Time Patty Wampach. Patty looks great
and says hello to all her old readers…
