Prime Time News ~
Hi Prime Timers! I hope you’ve managed to beat the heat the past few weeks. A great thing about Colorado weather is it can reach triple digits during the day but as soon as the sun sets the temperature drops and most evenings are comfortable. I can remember the hot summers growing up in Pennsylvania where it seemed like the temperature and the humidity competed with each other to reach miserable highs. Night time brought little if any relief.
Nice to be here.
By the time our next edition comes out the Broncos will have a few pre-season games under their belt. Personally, I can’t wait to watch this team play. I’m excited about the changes in ownership, management and the roster. It should be noted that the Bronco’s are playing in the toughest division in the NFL. This season should be a lot of fun. Go Bronco’s!
How about this great news! RTD is off ering Free Rides on all its services for the month of August. The following clip is from their web site…
JUST HOP ON BOARD!
During the entire month of August, RTD will off er zero fares across its system as part of the Zero Fare for Better Air initiative. This collaborative, statewide initiative, made possible by Colorado Senate Bill 22-180, in partnership with the Colorado Energy Offi ce, is designed to reduce ground-level ozone by increasing the use of public transit. Current RTD customers will also benefi t as they will not have to use or purchase fare products from August 1-31, during Colorado’s high ozone season.
Deb and I have been using the train whenever possible, especially if we’re headed into Denver. It’s a no stress trip into the city. No hassle driving no hassle parking. We love it. A big THANK YOU and much appreciation to our advertisers, contributors, readers and distributors for all your support!! We couldn’t do it without you!
