Public Art Project Planned in Conjuction with Olde Town Arvada Chocolate Affair

Arvada, CO – What are you doing on February 3?

Want to sample some chocolate?  How about participate in a public art project?  Or maybe…both!

On Saturday, February 3, Historic Olde Town Arvada is hosting its annual chocolate extravaganza, A Chocolate Affair, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.  During the event, the Arvada Arts and Culture Commission will be conducting a Public Art Project in Olde Town Square.

The Arvada Arts and Culture Commission (a citizen board appointed by the City Council) is working with consultant 23.4 Degrees to complete a Cultural Master Plan for Arvada. The Public Art Project is an opportunity for citizens of all ages to engage in the planning process while creating a temporary “artistic landscape” with hand-painted tree branches  There is no charge and all materials will be provided.  

Remember, ample parking is available in the Olde Town Hub, which is accessible via north- and south-bound Vance St. as well as north-bound Olde Wadsworth Blvd.
