Poetry Reading at the Boulder Bookstore

Michael Knisely to present a poetry reading at the Boulder Bookstore on Tuesday, May 9th, at 6:30 p.m., $5 admission.

Michael Knisely (pronounced “Nize-ly”) has lived in the Boulder area since 2015, writing and teaching (for the past 5 years at Front Range Community College), as well as photographing the people and landscapes of Colorado, becoming part of local communities engaged in Arts and Culture. Michael’s poetry has spanned the past few decades of teaching creative writing and composition courses, conducting workshops, and otherwise documenting life experiences. Cooking, fishing, and doing performance photography have been enduring passions, as well as writing and teaching/tutoring essentials of poetry in this tumultuous world. Michael grew up in southeast Nebraska, and has lived his adult life in Denver, Tucson, Lincoln, Greeley, and these days now in Boulder.
