Poem by Charlotte Hull
Stay home you say another day
I think it’s okay and I do it your way
But the next day, my dear, I’m “outta here”
Now I’m told you are on hold
Can’t go anywhere, I don’t think that is fair
Of course soon I learn
There is great concern
A sickness so obscene
The world has never seen
From the Donau to the Volga
From sea to shining sea
We will fight the beast and stand together
And soon we know life will be better
Most of all don’t despair
He is always there
Our God Almighty
He hears our prayer.
