Paws For A Cause

Senior Care Authority, in collaboration with our partners: the Senior Hub, Meals on Wheels, Arvada Fire Protection District, K9 First Aid and CPR, and Westminster Fire Department and Community Table invite you to join us for our 1st Annual Paws For A Cause Pet Food Pantry Food Drive, October 1 – November 15.

When seniors are provided with Meals on Wheels food delivery, the elderly generously share their nutrition and meals with their most cherished family members, their pets. Unfortunately, many seniors utilizing these benefits face financial and transportation issues, making it challenging to venture out and get the pet food that meets their individual needs.

Please assist us by donating gift cards or pet food items, allowing pets to benefit from their intended nourishment while making it possible for seniors to consume and fully benefit from the nutrition being delivered by the volunteers from Meals on Wheels.

We are looking for the following donations:

• Gift cards to pet food and grocery retailers, Walmart, or specialty online retailers
• Dog & Cat food (small bags preferred for ease of volunteer delivery)
• Dog & cat food (canned)
• Dog and Cat torys (must be new with tags on)
