Nominate a Senior Hero
Do you know of any Jefferson County seniors who volunteer their time every day, working
quietly and tirelessly, never asking for help or looking for recognition?
It is now time to give them the recognition they deserve. Nominate them to be a Senior Hero
The purpose of the Senior Hero Awards is to recognize the outstanding and continuing
contributions that seniors make throughout Jefferson County. Volunteers must be 60 years or
older and reside in Jefferson County.
The Jefferson County Council on Aging in partnership with the Seniors’ Resource Center will be
hosting a Senior Hero Awards Ceremony on May 9, 2013 at 2:00 pm to celebrate these amazing
seniors. The exact location of the event is currently being finalized.
Nominations are due April 4th to the Senior Hero Selection Committee c/o Seniors’ Resource
Center at 3227 Chase Street Denver, Colo. 80212. In order to nominate a senior volunteer,
please describe the community contributions of the nominee in 250 words or less and fill out our
