Medicare Monday and Other Medicare Programs Go Virtual and Come to Your Home

Denver, Colo. – Enrolled in Medicare and trying to keep up with the changing policies and guidelines? Overwhelmed. New to Medicare. More overwhelmed.
Join the Colorado Gerontological Society this fall for our virtual Medicare Monday educational programs and other support services on 2021 changes and Medicare Parts A, B, C and D from the comfort of your home on your favorite device.
Our Medicare programming includes virtual Medicare Monday educational programs covering “2021 Changes” and information for those “New to Medicare”. Medicare Monday will be October 19 and 26. Sessions will repeat on November 2, 9, and 16. Times vary. Register at www.senioranswers.org for Medicare Changes and/or New to Medicare programs(s). Society counselors will be standing by to answer your questions via the chat or on the phone and take your order for a goodie bag.
New this year will be Wednesday Lunch and Learn’s on October 21, 28, November 4, 11 and 18. So grab a sandwich because all sessions will be at noon. Topics vary. Register at www.senioranswers.org for sessions that affect you or your loved ones. Counselors will take your individual questions during the sessions via chat. You can also request goodie bags.
The Medicare Monday programs and the Wednesday Lunch and Learn’s, will feature a virtual Medicare Expo. Representatives from health insurance companies will share their 2021 products and services. Do your comparison shopping for Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug Plans, PACE programs, and more in the comfort of your home, request more information from individual companies, and register for giveaways.
You can schedule individual counseling sessions to answer your questions with Society experts between October 15 and December 7. Prescription drug review and counseling sessions will be available in a partnership with CU School of Pharmacy. Schedule an appointment by calling the numbers below.
New this year will be Medicare on The Porch. You can drop by CGS, 1129 Pennsylvania St, Denver for a packet of Medicare information on October 9 and 16 or on November 2, 9 or 16. Eileen Doherty, MS is the Executive Director of the Colorado Gerontological Society. Her areas of expertise include management and administration of nonprofit organizations, education and training on issues related to older adults, advocacy and policy development on senior issues, and clinical practice in working with seniors and families to manage their lives in the later years. She has been the Director of the Society since 1982. She teaches Nonprofit Management for Fort Hays State University.
