Starting almost anything in life requires a catalyst, whether it’s a brilliant idea, a difficult phone call or opening a can of worms. Talking about how individual want to age is no different. Join us for a heartfelt, humorous and candid discussion about choosing how we want to age and the many options out there. It’s about choices and sharing those with the ones you love. Getting the conversation started is hard, let this conversation be your can opener.

Acrylic Pour Painting
This is painting with a twist. No paint brushes needed. In each workshop you will learn a different technique. We provide the supplies and walk you through the process. Learn to make your own greeting cards using an ancient Egyptian art form that involves heating colored was with a small iron and applying it to a heavy glossy paper. You’ll leave the class with 5 different cards and an 8 X 10” picture. Material fee: $25 payable to the instructor

Continuing Bridge Lessons

Water Bath Canning
Canning is not just something your grandmother used to do, so come learn the art of canning fruit and veggies! We will discuss the difference in acid and low acid food and the best method to preserve them. How to reserve fruits and veggies to enjoy throughout the year with no preservatives. Great for those who have food allergies or sensitivity to processed food. Learn the basics of canning, the equipment needed, how to prepare the fruit, the canning process and other tips.
