Scott Perry played hooky from Metro State in April ’93 to attend the very first game of the Pro-baseball played in Denver.  Join Scott as he runs down the history of the Rockies as they chased their elusive 1st Division Title and World Championship.  The Rockies are trying to extend their playoff streak to 3 straight season and that means they need knowledgeable fans to back them up. So come get excited to had into the 2nd half of the season with renewed passion for our local boys of summer!

Chocolate & Canvas

Participants follow along step-by-step to complete their own beautiful painting.  We provide the supplies and walk you through each part of the painting. Materials Fee: $20 per class, payable to instructor. Projects: Kokopelli, Wed., July 17, 6-8pm, $13/$10

Espanol for Beginner           

Que paso! In this introductory Spanish class you will learn phrases and vocabulary.  Practice pronunciation and have simple conversations with your classmates.  Printed learning materials are provided.  Instructor: Rissa Dickey, Tues. July 16-Aug. 20, 9-10AM, $52/$41

Walk for Fitness

Powerful walking is a great way to burn calories while improving your cardiovascular fitness Join Exercise Physiologist and International Masters USATF Race Walker, Lis Shepard, in learning proper walking technique in a fun atmosphere.  See your goal-Enjoying summer walk or trying your hand at competition. You should be able to walk a mile in 25 minutes or less. Wednesdays, 9am-10am $26/$21

Continuing Bridge Lessons  

Take your Bridge playing to the next level.  This class is designed for those who have been learning the game for a while and want a new challenge.  Class includes instruction on play and defense, bidding skills, some lecture and supervised playing. Forever Fit

Charge your heart and engage your body with strengthening, cardio and stretching moves.  Use hand weights, bands and small balls as well as a chair for support. Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:30-9:30am, $29/$23
