Join Sarah Hitman, an End-of-Life Guide & Grief Companion for this eight-week comprehensive program which guides one though the steps to prepare for the end of life. Join a representative from University of Colorado- School of Dental Medicine for information on the Colorado Dental Healthcare Program for Low-Income Seniors (also known as “Senior Smiles” at the dental school). Discussion will include eligibility requirements and procedures covered under available funding. Overview includes what a typical visit entails, as well as Senior care and special care clinic details. Determine eligibility for Senior Smiles program and explore other resources for dental health.

Full-Day Weaving Class 55+
Explore the world of weaving on a rigid Heddle Loom. Learn how to make a scarf that is approx. 7″ x 60″. Gain insight into weaving terminology, figure warp and weft and design possibilities to apply to your scarf! Consider supporting the local weaving store (Blazing Star) right on Broadway for class supplies, they will help to choose the proper yarn for class. 250-350 yards of yarn are needed for class project.
