Technology really is amazing. There are so many things possible via a computer or phone that weren’t possible a decade ago. For people who struggle with mobility, this is a life saver! However, there are still areas where face-to-face communication is preferred. Certainly, the best option of all is a company or service that comes TO YOU.
National lenders will not come to your home to discuss the benefits of a reverse mortgage, provide a free pre-appraisal assessment and then help you with any needed repairs to get your home ready for the appraisal. Getting the highest appraised value means access to more of your housing wealth. So, if a lender will not help you with repairs, keep looking for one that will!
The benefits of a reverse mortgage are many, and qualifying is simple:
- One borrower must be 62 or older.
- The home must be your primary residence.
- Income and Credit requirements are easy. Social Security is usually sufficient and even bruised credit is often not a problem.
