Living Lights is a magical journey through our twinkling tropical rainforest and glowing gardens! Come take this unique opportunity to experience our hands-on-exhibits where you’ll see and learn about our animals’ relationship with light! By the time you leave you will have a new appreciation for all of our breathtaking invertebrates and have a great understanding of bioluminescence, fluorescence, and bio fluorescence!

This year Living Lights has something for everyone! It is packed with all sorts of entertainment including: The Original Dickens Carolers, fire dancing, princess appearances, and live ice sculpture performances.

Living Lights is unique in that it is the only indoor and outdoor holiday lighting events around. In our efforts to conserve our resources, all sculptures you will see are made of 95% recycled steel, and we only use LED lights.

All entertainment is included in your admission! Don’t miss out on this exceptional holiday lighting event, grab your friends and come to Butterfly Pavilion this holiday season. Living Lights is occurring on 17 different nights from December 10 – January 10, 2015. It occurs every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (excluding Dec. 24, 25, & 31) from 6:00pm-9:00pm.

About the Butterfly Pavilion
Founded in July 1995, as the first stand-alone non-profit invertebrate zoo in the nation, Butterfly Pavilion is an AZA accredited 30,000 square foot facility situated on an 11-acre campus provided by the City of Westminster, Colorado. The mission of the Butterfly Pavilion is to foster an appreciation of butterflies and other invertebrates while educating the public about the need for conservation of threatened habitats in the tropics and around the world.
