November 1st Chatfield Farms Free Day – 8500 W Deer Creek Canyon Rd, Littleton, 9am – 5pm
Free days for Colorado residents are held throughout the year at Chatfield Farms, thanks to funding from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District(SCFD). The Free Dayoffers everyone a chance to appreciate our collections and explorethe living museum.

November 6th Foothills Park and Recreation District – The Real Inspector Hound – 6612 S. Ward Street – 2 – 3pm
Presented by Foothills Theatre Company November 4, 5, 6, 11 and 12, 2016 Black Box Theatre in Ridge Recreation Center – Feuding theatre critics Moon and Birdboot, the first a fusty philanderer and the second a pompous and vindictive second stringer, are swept into the whodunit they are viewing

November 6th Mountain States Wood Recyclers – 10am-2pm – 2300 West Radcliffe Avenue, Sheridan
The Cities of Littleton and Englewood are continuing their annual leaf-recycling program. Volunteers working at the site will accept leaves and tires only. No grass clippings, tree branches or other refuse will be accepted. Unmounted tires will also be collected at a cost of $2 each. No mounted – or – oversized tires please.

November 11th Veterans Day Ceremony 11am – WWII Memorial Ketring Park 6000 S. Gallop Street
At 11 a.m. on Friday, November 11, the Pat Hannon Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4666 and the George C. Evans American Legion Post 103 will conduct a Veterans Day Ceremony. The ceremony will include full military honors for those veterans who have passed since Veterans Day 2015. The public is welcome to mention family and friends whom they have lost during the past year.

Want to improve balance and mobility? Consider joining the YMCA community and take advantage of variety of classes just for seniors such as; Stations of Balance, Tai Chi and Zumba. November 25th Candlelight Walk -5:30 – 7:30pm – Main Street
Littleton’s annual Candlelight Walk and Tree Lighting is held the Friday after Thanksgiving in historic downtown Littleton. This Littleton tradition is a festive evening of holiday lights and music for the whole family. Sip free hot cider, listen to live holiday music, and see real reindeer at Bradford Auto Body from 5:30 to 6:30 pm

November 26th Elf Crawl -7:00 –10:00 Downtown Littleton
Stick around after shopping till you drop for the third annual Elf Crawl, benefiting Integrated Family Community Services ( For $25 + fees, a donation will be made to IFCS and you will receive tickets for drinks from the participating establishments from 7-10 p.m. You’ll also get an elf hat to keep you warm and costumes are absolutely encouraged!

November 28th – Grab, Gab & Go 1:30-2:00pm Bemis Library Aging Well Resource Center – 6014 S. Datura St.
Stop by the Aging Well Resource Center on the fourth Monday of each month to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and a refreshment. Stay to learn about our services, ask a question and/or continue on to Bemis Public Library’s monthly afternoon program from 2 to 3 p.m.
