July 1 – 30th – Lazy Days of Summer – Depot Art Gallery – 2069 W. Powers Ave., Littleton, 10am – 5pm and 11-4 Sunday. Local artists that are part of Littleton fine arts guild depict the Summer utilizing all mediums. Their artwork will be on display through July 30th. Free admission and plenty of parking available.
July 4th – Family Festival and Fireworks – Cornerstone Park – 5150 S. Windermere Street., 3 -10pm Join the fun at the annual 4th of July Family Festival & Fireworks! The fun begins at 3 pm, with field games and family-friendly activities at Cornerstone Park and Belleview Park all afternoon.
July 8th – Littleton Cruise – Woodlawn Shopping Center – 1500 W. Littleton Blvd. 3pm – 7pm
Join your community for a fun afternoon of vintage, classic and muscle cars on display every second Saturday of the month. Don’t miss this chance to see some of the area’s most beautiful cars of a bygone era.

July 15 – Little Jam #2 FACE – Bega Park – 2250 West Main Street – 6:30-9:30 FACE is an internationally-acclaimed all-vocal rock band from Boulder, Colorado who have been captivating audiences for fifteen years with their infectious energy punctuated by an endearing love of performance. July 15 – The Legendary Ladies: Bold Women of the West – Bemis Library – 6014 S. Datura Street – 2:00pm – 3pm
Enjoy a dramatic presentation by six actresses portraying bold women in the history of the West. The historical characters performed will include Mary Chase, Pulitzer Prize winning playwright; Florence Lawrence, America’s first movie star; suffragist and activist in the temperance movement, Ellis Meredith; “little sure shot” Annie Oakley; infamous outlaw Bonnie Parker; and Alice Stebbins Wells, the first policewoman with arrest powers. Each actress has researched the character that she is portraying, written her own script and created a costume.

July 19 – Bringers of Swing – Littleton Museum – 6028 S. Gallop Street – 7-8pm The Bringers of Swing, which features former Frank Zappa vocalist Bob Harris along with some of the Denver region’s most seasoned musicians, performs the best in swing, blues and R&B music from the 40s-60s, perfect for listeners and dancers alike. Wednesday night concerts are held on the front lawn of Littleton Museum and are free to the public. Shows begin at 7 p.m. and last approximately one hour. Chairs that could obstruct the view of others should be placed at the back or along the sides of the lawn. Each week a food truck vendor will be available at 5:30 p.m
July 22 – Nokothula Band – Bemis Library 6014 S. Datura Street 2 – 3:00pm
Listen to an energetic and upbeat performance by the six-member band Nokuthula playing popular music from around the world. The band’s contemporary and traditional repertoire is largely African (from Zimbabwe and South Africa) with influences of jazz, blues, Latin, Cuban and other international music. Nokuthula’s sound is joyous with driving rhythms and mesmerizing vocals.

July 25th – Meet Greet and Eat with City Council – Ketring Park 6000 S. Gallup Street – 4-6pm Having fun is a requirement at the Littleton’s Meet, Greet & Eat events this summer. Taking place in four outdoor Littleton locations, the program is designed to give citizens the chance to meet their neighbors and talk with the city manager and city council members. Every site will have displays from city departments, and staff will be on-hand to answer questions

Each month we team with an Audubon Master Birder from the Front Range Birding Company to discover the rich bird habitats in and around Hudson Gardens.
