Musical Theater Dance

This class will utilize the style of Musical Theater dance to explore a dynamic fusion of physicality, rhythm, and storytelling. Participants will explore the nuances of movement, honing their skills while building relationships with others in an encouraging and collaborative environment. We will sweat and smile together as we move joyfully to music from Broadway classics as well as contemporary hits.

Join technical expert, Shawn Winchester, demonstrates multiple ways to move your photos from the phone to the computer. Focus on different methods for both Apple and Android products; so, don’t forget your devices to follow along.

 Flamenco Movement Workshop

This hands-on flamenco dance workshop includes instruction in rhythmic handclaps, arm movements, body posturing and footwork tailored to the participants’ experience level. The class is supportive and fun, and flamenco technique is woven into a simple, short choreography the participants will be able to “perform” at the end of the workshop. The class includes a brief history of the origins of flamenco dance, music, and song and how the various cultures that inhabited Spain have influenced flamenco.

 Balance & Fall Prevention

Falls are the leading cause of injury for individuals age 65 and older. The good news is that many of these are preventable. Join physical therapists from FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers – West Denver as they discuss risk factors for falling, the systems involved in your sense of balance, ways to assess your balance, and how to prevent falling. Come learn how to get your life back in balance!

Join technical advisor, Shawn Winchester, and dive into an overview of Google Applications and the awesome tools available at your fingertips – for free! Bring your own device so you can follow along and learn about the expansion of Google.

Taxi services now-a-days looks much different; so how can you order one? Bring your phone to our next Technology session and learn how to install Uber or Lyft. Tech advisor, Shawn Winchester, will show how to navigate using the app, tip & rate the driver, and learn safety features within the app.
