Great American Picnic 
Come join us for an afternoon of fun! Staff will be BBQ’ing hamburgers/hotdogs and serving up some sides. We will have a cornhole game out and card games. We are grateful for Seniors Helping Seniors ® sponsoring the meats. Pre-register and help us kick off the summer.

Colorado Rockies vs. Houston Astros

Enjoy the day at the ballpark with friends cheering the Colorado Rockies to a win against the Houston Astros.   We will enjoy shaded seats while we watch the game. Meet at the Senior Center at 11am for the bus ride to the stadium. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Stories help us make sense of our world, impart a lesson, pass down history, and more. They teach us to love, to forgive, to be just and to strive for better than we have. Join Spellbinders’® trained veteran storytellers and new volunteers as they bring a variety of story genres to life. You’ll also discover how Spellbinders develop their craft through the use of sound, rhythm and repetition to paint memorable word pictures. Register by two days prior to class.

Monday Morning Glories

Come join us on Monday mornings for friendship, and coffee. Grab your free cup of coffee and Panera Bread treat from inside the Senior Center, then head out to the picnic table to start the week off right. We will meet inside if the weather does not cooperate.

Medicare 101

Are you turning 65 soon or just turned 65? Do you have questions about Medicare? This class is for you! It will answer common Medicare questions, such as:   
• What does Medicare cover?   
• How do I enroll in Medicare?   
• Should I enroll in Medicare if I’m still working and have health insurance from my employer?   
• How can I tell if a Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplement plan is right for me?   
• How can I avoid a Part D Late Enrollment Penalty?   
This class is offered by the Medicare Teachers Inc. They will be available after the class to meet one on one if you have more specific questions.  Location: Lafayette Senior Center

Tech Tuesdays

Answer all these questions and much more at Tech Tuesdays, held at the Senior Center, hosted by Peak to Peak High School’s Interact Club.

New Belgium Brewery and Tour in Fort Collins

Learn all about the beer-making process and about the New Belgium Brewery. We will take a 90-minute tour to learn about the origins of the brewery that now has a multi-state footprint. It all started in Fort Collins, where our adventure will take place. Please bring money for lunch and join in on this fun day!
