Monday 2/21 in observance of President’s Day

Panera Bread 

Every Monday and Wednesday at 10:00am, stop by and pick up Panera Bread at the Senior Center. Donations vary from week to week.

Do you have a question about your cell phone?  Do you want to learn to send or make your photos into an album?  How about increasing the font size on your device to see it more easily?  Answer all these questions and much more at Tech Tuesdays, held at the Senior Center, hosted by Peak to Peak High School’s Interact Club.

SilverSneakers® Stability

Movements taught in class focus on specific exercises to improve strength and power around the ankle, knee, and hip joints while improving your reaction time. This class is designed for fall prevention and is suitable for nearly every fitness level.

Tuesday 10 -11am

Seated Stretch

Experience yoga-based postures and stretches, all from the comfort of a chair so you don’t need to worry about getting up and down from the floor. Mindful, meditative and flexibility exercises to help your recovery, mobility, posture, and energy!

Valentine’s Day Event

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with the romance and nostalgia of the 40s, 50s and 60s with Mr. Tim, the Crooner, singing favorite love songs to warm your heart. Registration includes a Valentine treat and entertainment.

Learn & share tips and tricks for enhancing your memory while enjoying some fun memory games and interacting with others in a fun safe environment. Please pre-register.

Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum 

We will take a guided tour of the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum and will explore the scope of the quilting, from bed coverings of the 1800’s to contemporary art pieces.  Please wear comfortable shoes and bring money for lunch.

Jump on the Senior Services Bus for a comfortable ride to visit Denver’s newest museum! Explore your imagination through this four-story exhibit. It houses over 70 unique installations, rooms, and portals. Joy us for this unforgettable experience!

Tai Chi 1  

Tai Chi is exercise that is easy and gentle.  It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.  Tai Chi develops body awareness that can help balance, promote activity, and improve health.  Improved mobility can promote independence and fuller lives.  Tai Chi is safe for all ages and fitness levels.

Thursdays 2/10 to 3/3 from 11am to 12pm

Tai Chi Form  

Tai Chi Form class will cover the first third of the form with just a little meditation and warm-up.  Class is open to anyone, any experience level welcome.  Previous experience recommended.
