Older Adult Artist Showcase
If you are a local recreational/amateur artist aged 55 or better, you are invited to display your 2-D original artwork at the Lafayette Senior Center during September. Artists contact Dana.firstname.lastname@example.org for entry information Aug 1-24.
Are you turning 65 soon or just turned 65? Do you have questions about Medicare? This class is for you. It will answer common Medicare questions. Offered by Medicare Teachers Inc.

Summer Concerts and Dinner at the Orchard
It is time to enjoy the summer season! Meet at the Senior Center to jump on the bus that will take you to the Orchard Town Center in Westminster. Once there, enjoy the summer concert that plays from 6 – 8 PM, go shopping or join someone for dinner. The options are endless! This bus will provide transportation for four concerts this summer, you are welcome to join one or all of them! We will provide descriptions of the concerts in the Spotlight. Dress for the weather and bring money for dining and/or shopping.

Library’s Makerspace Woodworking class
One of Lafayette’s many treasures is the Maker’s Space in the Lafayette Library. Learn to use this space and make a project with your friends from the Senior Center. You just need to meet us at the Lafayette Library at the designated time and bring along the suggested items to complete the project.

Annual Ice Cream Social
Cool off on a hot summer day with ice cream and friends. Gather with others as you enjoy the tastes of ice cream on a warm summer day! Sponsored by TRU PACE Register by 08/22. Please RSVP.

Looking for a good time? Bring yourself, a friend or two, and a wrapped gift (white elephant style, something you have and don’t need that you think someone else might enjoy) to the Senior Center to play a few rounds of Bingo! There is sure to be laughter and fun, something we all need more of. We hope you will join us.

Loveland Walking Tour
Let’s head north for an adventure. Just a short 45 minutes away are some of the loveliest outdoor art that you will find. Over 9 million dollars of outdoor public art is installed in Loveland for all to see. We will visit two parks and the downtown area where you can enjoy the art, shop and visit any of a number of fabulous restaurants for a meal. This will be a day well spent in the company of your neighbors.
