JEWISHcolorado to Host 2016 Walk For Israel
More than 1,500 Community Members Expected to Gather in Downtown Denver and Walk in Support of Israeli Independence

WHAT: WALK FOR ISRAEL – Two-mile walk as part of an extended Israel’s Independence Day celebration (Yom Ha’atzmaut).
This year’s walk will be immediately followed by JCC Denver’s Celebrate Family Festival, featuring Hazon’s DIY Foodie Fair. More than 1,500 members of the community are expected to walk in support of Israel independence.

WHERE: Sculpture Park at Denver Performing Arts Complex, 1736 Speer Boulevard, Denver
OTHER: It is recommended that participants pre-register online at: IsraelCelebrateFest.org/register.
On-site pre-walk registration will begin at 8:30 am, and the kickoff celebration will take place at 9:30 a.m. The Walk for Israel will leave promptly at 10 a.m. from beneath the dancers along Speer.
At 10:30 am, the Celebrate Family Festival and DIY Foodie Fair will kick off; featuring live music, Israeli games, activities, and festive food.
