Informed Retirement Decisions Workshop
Is There Hope for Those Approaching Retirement?
ARVADA, Colorado – October 12, 2018 – Life Restructured, LLC announced a free financial education workshop Monday, November 5 from 6:00-7:30pm at the Arvada Library in Olde Town Arvada (7525 W. 57th Ave., Arvada 80002) focused on Baby Boomers and those approaching retirement.
With 10,000 individuals turning of retirement age each day, financial literacy should not focus solely on those entering or currently in the workforce, but on those looking to exit it, as well. According to a study by the Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) earlier this year, 42% of Baby Boomers have no retirement savings and among Boomers who do have retirement savings, 38% have less than $100,000 saved for retirement.
Along with excitement, uncertainty looms as individuals consider ending full-time employment. To complicate matters, many of these individuals are not acting alone. There are children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and even beloved pets to keep in mind.
Reviewing one’s comprehensive portfolio and desired retirement lifestyle can help identify strategies to apply in ways that minimize income tax exposure and help assets last longer. Understanding the ways in which assets become income streams and intentionally utilizing these assets, as well as, knowing who to ask for advice is key.
Presented by Life Restructured, LLC, Managing Savings & Investments: Informed Retirement Decisions is a free and interactive workshop focused on using what one has and serving those that represent what is estimated be close to 20% of the US population within the next 10 years.
