Informative Event About Our Wounded Veterans
Do you want to learn more about what is being done for our wounded veterans? On Friday March 29 the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 111, serving the greater Louisville, Broomfield, and Lafayette areas, will host National Auxiliary President Peggy Thomas and the Colorado Department President Karen Boehler for an exciting and informative morning.
We begin with a continental breakfast at the post on 1150 Pine Street at 9:00am. After breakfast, we will view a short video featuring the Rocky Mountain Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy facility and the work being done to heal returning soldiers suffering PTSD and traumatic brain injury. At 10:30 we will begin departing in small groups to tour the facility and meet some of the veterans and staff.
All community members are invited to attend all or part of this informative event. You can reserve a spot for the breakfast by calling Jan at 303-469-6416. The post is located at 1150 Pine Street, directly behind the Mountain High Appliance Store.
