Aug. 3 – Morning Coffee Chat, 9 – 10:30 a.m. Wild Blue Coffee, 3900 Grace Boulevard, Highlands Ranch, 9 – 10:30 a.m. Come together for a morning of coffee, friendship and fun. Aug. 13, 20, 27 – Summer Safety Series, 1:30 – 3 p.m., Douglas County Libraries Highlands Ranch, 9292 South Ridgeline Blvd., Highlands Ranch. South Metro Fire Rescue Community Risk Reduction Specialist Selena Silva leads a three-part Summer Safety Series. Topics will cover Pedestrian and Community Safety, Fall Prevention, and Fire Safety in the Home and Senior Health and Aging Successfully. Cost is free. Aug. 17 – Morning Trail Walk, 9 – 10:30 a.m., Highline Canal Trailhead, County Line Road at Southpark. Trail walks are easy with little or no elevation gain unless otherwise noted.
